New in: Anthony Glycolic Facial Cleanser

"Cleanse and buff away surface cells with this vitamin and glycolic acid enriched cleanser. Skin is left feeling smooth, fresh and ready for shaving. Glycolic acid helps to prevent in-growing hairs, razor burns and keeps neck clear."

Caroline Hirons is basically my skincare Goddess and I would say that 80 % of my skincare consists of things that she has mentioned on her fabulous blog (which you will find here). So when she wrote about this cleanser that is actually for men I instantly bought it. I've just started using it but I have to say that it feels amazing. I use this as a second cleanser at night and it makes my skin feel very clean and super smooth. I will keep you updated on how I get on with it! I've never thought of using a product made for men but you know, why not? Skincare for men is often way cheaper and for £21 you get 237ml! I got mine from Mankind but you can also get it from SpaceNK.

Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette || Review and Swatches

Today this B-E-A-utiful thing made its way to my house and I am super excited! I was literally squealing when I opened the box. The packaging is amazing! It not only looks incredible but it is also very functional. The palette opens by itself when you push the button (how freaking amazing is that?), it's got a huge mirror and you can even place the palette on the table and actually see yourself! God is good!

The eyeshadows are buttery, easy to blend, pigmented and all of that good stuff. The only one that was kind of disappointing was Lovesick which I would've preferred if they'd switched out for a matte dark brown instead. My favourite shades are Shellshock, Madness, Radar, Damaged and Betrayal! Here are some pictures of the palette and some swatches. And as always, I applied the eyeshadows on bare skin without foundation or primer underneath.

Halloween makeup with stuff you already have

I have always been interested in SFX makeup but I have never managed to get stuff like liquid latex, blood, scar wax and face paints. I really wanted to try something anyway so I tried using stuff I already had in my collection. To create the look I used lash adhesive, lipstick, lipgloss and a bunch of different eyeshadows (grey, taupe, cranberry and purple). It didn't turn out perfect but it was so much fun to experiment!
