As I’ve mentioned about a million times, I’m really pale. When my skin is at its palest I’m way lighter than an NC15 from MAC and my legs look purple because my skin is so fair and literally see-through. I don’t really tan all that much in the summer either. During the winter months I embrace my paleness but during the summer I do like to cheat a little bit. I guess we all have the same expectations from a fake-tanner. You don’t want it to be orange, I can’t be streaky and you don’t want it to smell too much. My favourite self-tanner is actually a really cheap one; it’s the St Moriz Instant Self-Tanning Lotion in Regular (or Medium as it says on the bottle).
What I like about this is that it’s cheap as chips, it instantly gives me colour so I can see where I have applied it, the smell is not very noticeable and it gives me a gorgeous golden tan! I apply it with the St Moriz Tanning Mitt, if you don’t use a mitt you will have tan all over your hands which won’t look all that nice. Also, since I can’t reach my back very well and I don’t have anyone that can apply it for me I use the Instant Self Tan Mist for that. Just bend over and spray all over your back, preferably in the shower so you don’t ruin any furniture, carpets, walls or something, and you're sorted.
I get mine from Feel Unique and the Instant Self-Tanning Lotion retails for £4.99, the mitt for £2.99 and the Instant Self Tan Mist also retails for £4.99!
This is a photo that my friend Instagrammed last summer, she tans so easy and well, I don't..
